Today, I'm gonna talk about the time that I first went to a Family Christian store and bought a lot of VeggieTales stuff (LarryBoy stuff, specifically).
Now, this was back when I was still in the eighth grade, so... I think I was like... Hmm. I was still thirteen years old at the time. And we decided to visit Family Christian. (Now mind you: this was during the time when the Family Christian stores were still around--They aren't around anymore, because they had filed for bankruptcy.) There was a store that was no more than 10 minutes away from where we lived.
When I had first entered the store, first impressions? There was a lot of church stuff, calendars, etc. But at the back of the store--I kid you not--there was a section dedicated to VeggieTales.

2. LarryBoy and the Yodelnapper (DVD)
3. LarryBoy t-shirt (the shirt that I would normally wear on my YouTube channel)
Lemme tell ya! I left that store very happy. I was in there like a kid in a candy store. I was happy.
I guess the only downer was when my mom got upset that I had spent that much money on merch. But then, I guess she had gotten over when Grandma talked to her. But I didn't let that stop me from being happy. During that time, my dad would give me an allowance to spend on whatever I wanted. So... yeah. I believe that's a good defense.
From then on, Family Christian was my go-to place to buy VeggieTales/LarryBoy merch, until its disappointing end back in 2017.
