After spending a few days tinkering with Pocket7Games, I’ve figured out how to get the most out of all the skill games by strategizing and scoring.
In Pocket7Games, you can choose from the following skill games:
- Bingo Clash
- Solitaire!
- 21 Gold
- Bubble Shot
- Tile Blitz
- 2048 Blitz
- Cube Blast
As I review each game (I played in practice
matches of each game with winnings of 20 Tickets each), I’ll give some
helpful tips.
Bingo Clash
This bingo game lets you use power-ups that you’ll gain from
the progress that you make. The most notable power-up is the diamond, which
lets you pick any number on the board – say, that one number you need to get a bingo.
Your job is to get as many bingos as possible before time
runs out.
Pro Tips:
- Play
this game with the volume turned up so that you can be ready for any number
called out.
- Save your power-ups.
For example, if you save up 2 diamond power-ups, you can pick any two
numbers on the board and fill in a row to get a bingo.
Solitaire!
If you regularly play Solitaire, then you’ll be excited to play this
version. This game challenges you to either complete the match or score more
points than your opponent.
Pro Tips:
- Tap
on cards, rather than holding and swiping them, to get them to the A deck on
the top-left side of the screen. For example, if you have an Ace, it can
easily be tapped on, and be sent to the A deck.
- It’s
all about speed. Think on your feet when you play Solitaire.
- You can only undo one
move at a time. So, be vigilant about your gameplay.
21 Gold
Admittedly, I had never played blackjack before I was
introduced to it on Pocket7Games. You place cards in four different rows, so
that they add up to 21. The more rows you can successfully make equal 21 before
time runs out, the better.
Pro Tips:
- Learn
how each higher card (i.e. Jack, Queen, and King) and the Aces work first
before taking up harder challenges with larger winnings.
- The
three circles on top of the screen (between the timer and the score
display) are extremely important. When you use a card that breaks 21(“busts”)
in any row, you’ll get an X in one circle. If you get three Xs, it’s game
over. So, plan accordingly.
- Do
the math. This part is tricky, because you only have time to do so
mentally.
- Take advantage of the
“Hold” stack. If you can’t use a card without going past 21 in any row,
then set that card aside. However, you can only hold one card at a time.
Bubble Shot
I’ve played mobile color-matching games before, so I
didn’t really need to learn any skills for Bubble Shot. Just aim and shoot at different
colored balls to clear the arena.
Swipe around on the touchscreen to guide the Aiming Line and
then shoot the ball.
Pro Tip
- Notice what color
balls you’re armed with before you shoot. If you have two different colors
in your arsenal (which you can see on the gray circle at the bottom of the
screen), you can always change balls before making your move. For example,
in the screenshot above, there weren’t many blue balls to aim at. So, I switched
to the purple ball, and then shot at the two purple balls above.
Tile Blitz
Like Tetris, Tile Blitz has you stack tiles to create
completed rows on the board. The game is over when time runs out or there
are no moves left.
Pro Tip:
- Start from the
corners first. Then, work your way towards the middle of the board so that
you have plenty of opportunities to fit more tile shapes and score with
more completed rows.
Cube Blast
Lastly, we have a skill game similar to Candy Crush and Toon Blast. If you’ve played those color-matching games before, then you’ll do well in this game.
Pro Tips:
- Take
out colored blocks by the bunch. That’s how you’ll get power-ups that will
help you clear the board.
- If you combine two
power-ups (either the same or different from each other), you’ll get double
the effect of clearing the board of bubbles, barricades, etc.
Overall, these skill games on Pocket7Games were fun to review. Check out these great tips, and make the best out of all the games! Good luck!
